My feet felt damp with these - probably from sweating. I didn't notice much difference between wearing these and wearing my woolen trek socks. The boot and garters are more important in my view. Given the high cost of the socks (1,700 rupees), I am not sure it's worth it. Maybe buy one pair only or borrow from a friend.
I bought these socks for my upcoming trek. I have not used them yet but just tried them on after I received them. The material is thick and of good quality. The socks come in a waterproof cover. I’m happy with my purchase.
I wire these socks for an entire day if trekking in snow. I did not feel my feet become wet even one bit. Socks are very comfortable to wear and keep you warm as well.
At first, I hadn't intended to purchase these socks. However, due to heavy snowfall, I opted for them. With the exception of when we encountered waist-deep snow (which was also due to my gaiters opening), these socks performed admirably. Nonetheless, I must note that they are most effective when paired with Trek 100 shoes, as they didn't offer much assistance to my companions with less optimal trekking footwear. But I do feel these are must have for people who trek frequently.
These socks are must for the snow treks. We did kuari pass in March’24 and the entire trail to the summit and back was covered in snow. Although I had water proof shoes but they tend to have a capacity for 4-5 hours of waterproofing. After that the water starts to enter inside. But with these waterproof socks on I had no issue. At times I felt that the water has surpassed the socks layer. However when I reached the camp site and removed my shoes I was surprised that my feet were absolutely dry. The socks did get a little wet on the outer layer but the feet remained dry. Superb quality. This is definitely a must buy for snow trek. I strongly recommend it. Value for money.
